earlier on first semester i met a girl named Melissa, that i so commonly refer to as Shakira. dont ask why..you guys know how i am with nicknames...WELL...long story short..she married a Marine, and moved to Jacksonville, NC to get an apartment and be with him. She left some good friends behind, and we all start missing her and her missing us so we all decided to save up some money, pick a weekend and drive out there.

pre road trip lunch friday around noon
everyone piles in the car..cars loaded up just waiting on mad to get back from the bathroom...got the music ready on the song for road tripping everyones buckled in...Mad jumps in the car and screams "HERE WE GO!!!" I start the engine..AND.....
fail.
Maddi then says "that was anti climatic"....the car doesnt start. for the FIRST TIME..ever. the car doesnt start.
someone jumps our car and then we get on the road
running to the car after a break..just to find out..
it wasnt gonna work again.
so i had to ask a stranger yet again..for a jump.
everyone else found this funny for my pride was ruined running around with jumper cables pretending like im a helpless girl who has no idea how to jumpstart a car.
as we would drive away from the peopel who helped us i would scream out the window "THANK YOU, KIND STRANGER!!"

well after 3 car break downs and a few stops the total drive was very long. but we finally made it to McDonalds where Shakira came and we followed her to her apartment.
you guys know i have about a billon pictures so im gonna just fly through these and explain..but basically during this trip i found out..
rock band is the best
and most intense game for me ever..

but then be amazingly sweet and buy you a 107 dollar car battery and let u pay them back with pizza
the beach is amazing
especially with your friends
you can befriend a dog in 48 hours.
and make some ridiculious memories
and even though one might drive you crazy..
youll still drive across the state just to see them
and realize about 4 hours in how much you actually care about someone
definately worth it in the end. but arent all road trips? got a lot of new memories, got to see the Shakira, which it had been WAY..too long.
on top of all of that..i am one sexy driver.
the drives were the best part just about...especially that drive home with nothing but the girls.

i had the most amazing time with these girls. i now have about a trillion new memories and inside jokes with these people i will never forget. though it was a crazy weekend, and awesome road trip from mountains to the beach, i did miss people. i miss my friends at home, a lot. but while i was at the beach i could help but miss a certain someone...

i am lame, but its true. i missed him so much
but its our second month coming up here on friday..and i cant get over it.
we have had some really crazy times. and we have so mcuh in common, and so much fun together. these past 2 months we have had some crazy memories.
though we are pretty dorky together, i realized this weekend being away how much i care about him and how hard it is for me to leave cullowhee these days because of it. i love him so much. and i finally told him that this week. I just couldnt imagine being with anybody else.
hes been talking to me about staying in NC. and going to chapel hill possibily for law school...i was like k..tell ANNE that. annnnnnnnd she will start planning a wedding. lol
mom its been so great up here, im having the time of my life and im loving my classes in communications. i miss the family, and i miss my girls at home but im doing great up here besides that.
easter break is coming up here the 8th-11th..
winstons birthdays gonna be rough, but im glad ill be home for it.
i miss you all, and i love you guys cant wait to come home again!!!
